Greenville Technical College's STAT (Simulation Technologies and Training) Center opened in June 2009 and provides our health science division with 12 high-fidelity human patient simulators, an integrated recording and debriefing system, 7 training rooms, 2 classrooms, 2 debriefing rooms, portable Smartboards and much more. The facility has 7 environments such as an emergency room, labor and delivery area, neonatal resuscitation, standard patient room, operating room and specialty room that can be used as an ICU. During the first 5 years of operation the STAT Center hosted 905 classes, 17,074 students and provided 39,664 simulated patient contacts for our students.
